About Bloomington
The exciting city of Bloomington is just 10 miles South of the city Minneapolis. With an estimated population of 84,701 in 2009 it is the fourth largest city in Minnesota.
The average temperature during the summer season is a comfortable 70 degrees, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful nature Minnesota has to offer. And the average temperature in the winter months is a cold 17 degrees, which gives plenty of snow to the near by mountains.
Bloomington is home of one of country’s largest shopping centers, Mall of America. With 520 stores and 50 restaurants there is something for everyone.
Beside the excellent shopping there is plenty to do at the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge.
Apple picking, touring vineyards, wine tasting, and even snowing and skiing during the winter are also great ways to explore the city of Bloomington.
